Depending on which cost you were watching from, late Tuesday or early Wednesday we saw Republican candidate Donald Trump take stage to announce that Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton had called to concede. From that stage he spoke as U.S. President-Elect Donald Trump.
Various elected officials, political commentators, economists and informed (and uninformed) citizens took to Twitter immediately to express their thoughts on a Donald Trump presidency, from Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul to Thomas E. Woods, Kristin Tate to Dana Loesch, Ben Shapiro to Bob Murphy. Below is a sampling of the comments and reactions to Trump’s win.

I’ll be watching my TV today to see which of the Hollywood elite will board their private planes and leave America!

Bernie's supporters wanted socialism because they thought Obama's economy was Capitalism. Wrong. Trump will now show them real Capitalism.

If you’re in shock and explain it by saying, “Millions of Americans more racist than I thought,” let me relieve you. It’s not that.

Progressives last week: “Monster Trump said he wouldn’t support election results!!!”
Progressives today: “#NotMyPresident“— Robert P. Murphy (@BobMurphyEcon) November 10, 2016
It’s pretty rich that we have #notmypresident protests after weeks of being lectured on how good and just it is to accept election outcomes.

Should President-elect Donald Trump attempt to implement his unconstitutional campaign promises, we’ll see him in court.

Mainstream Media Got It Wrong
Biggest loser tonight: Media bias #ElectionNight
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) November 9, 2016
Who was the big loser in this election? The media. Hundreds of journos and editors need to resign and find another profession.
— Bill Frezza (@BillFrezza) November 9, 2016
Media which got everything wrong will now tell you all the things that will happen as a result of the thing they said wouldn’t happen.
— Dave Rubin (@RubinReport) November 9, 2016
Thankfully there will be plenty of articles from journalists admitting they were wrong and praising the average voter’s intellect tomorrow.

The point of emphasizing this stuff isn’t to say “na na na,” it’s because progressives have prided themselves on “reality-based evidence.” https://t.co/KlyRSRqZR7

If Trump wins tonight, he will have defeated Hillary Clinton, the Democrat party, the Republican establishment, & the media. #ElectionNight
