1. They don’t wait for others to make their dreams come true.
Entrepreneurs know the potential value of their ideas. They may seek help from others whether financially or creatively, but they’re sure as hell not going to hand their ideas for someone else to execute them.
2. They know which ideas to pursue.
If they’re not passionate about an idea, then other people won’t be either. They know just how much time, money, and effort it takes to get something going and they will use their resources wisely.
3. They know the formula for success: blood, toil, sweat and tears.
Entrepreneurs are well aware that to accomplish something no one has done before, they’ll have to work harder than anyone ever has.
4. They don’t half-ass anything.
There’s a lot at stake when staring a company. If you’re not giving over 100% of yourself 365 days a year, don’t expect extraordinary results.
5. Nothing comes without risk.
They know not to be reckless but also not to be too cautious – after all, nothing worthwhile ever comes easy.
6. The customer always knows best.
It doesn’t matter how talented the CEO or the hundreds of employees are – if they don’t provide value for their customers, they won’t make any money and without any money, they face extinction.
7. They know how to fail.
Negativity is the root of all evil. If you blame others for your mistakes, then you’ll never learn how to make it right.
8. A little failure comes a long way.
Unless you’re the luckiest person in the world, things don’t always happen the first time you try. It doesn’t matter how many times you fall, only how many times you get up.
The only real failure is not ever trying.
9. Being “perfect” is not a real thing – not even close.
Sometimes they’re not the best students nor the best employees. Entrepreneurs are usually very independent and are natural leaders, make them follow other people’s orders and you may have a recipe for disaster.
10. They got skills.
Successful people know just how important it is to learn to say ‘No’ and know when to ask for help.
11. They take good care of themselves.
To be able to give their all, entrepreneurs know they must always keep healthy and strong. They place a lot of value on their attitude, their health, and who they surround themselves with.
